The Rector, The Federal Polytechnic, Ado-Ekiti, Dr. Temitope John Alake has reaffirmed his commitment to sustaining peace, progress and stability in the Institution.
Dr. Alake gave his assurance at the Christmas Carol of Nine Lessons held on Wednesday, 17th December, 2025 at the Atiku Abubakar Auditorium as part of the activities to mark the 2025 Yuletide season.
The Rector expressed gratitude to God, the Principal Officers, Management Staff, the Federal Government and the Host Community, while also praying that God would heal our land and put an end to the unrest in various parts of the country experiencing turbulent.
He further noted that staff and students welfare will continue to receive maximum attention as this will continue to be in the front burner of his administration.
In his sermon titled “Reciprocity to God” Dr. C.A. Ologunde told the congregation that divine blessings demand responsibility, stating that “to whom much is given, much is expected”. He added that reciprocating God’s love requires commitment to righteous living, service to humanity and faithfulness in all spheres of life.
He however asked Christian faithfuls what they are giving back to God in return since he gave us his only son.
Highlights of the event was the rendition of special songs, praise and worship and it ended with a special prayer for the Polytechnic’s growth, peace and divine guidance.
