The Federal Polytechnic, Ado-Ekiti has restructured its existing five schools to eight.
This decision to restructure the existing six structure schools was taken at an emergency meeting of the Academic Board headed by the Institution Rector, Engr. Dr. Temitope John Alake held on Wednesday, 12th November, 2025.
According to a circular signed by the Registrar, Mrs. F.B. Akintola, the unbundling of the schools was in line with global current educational requirements and skills needed in the Nigerian society.
The unbundling of the schools and departments would bring the Polytechnic into further positive reckoning and enhance its potentials for global reputation through improved administration and higher quality delivery, the statement added.
The new schools and departments are as follows:
