Rector of the Federal Polytechnic, Ado – Ekiti, Dr. Dayo Oladebeye, has been bestowed with a Fellowship Award of the Institute of Policy Management Development (IPMD).
The event, which took place at Sunview Hotel in Akure, the Ondo State Capital on Saturday, 16th June, 2018 had in attendance many members of the Ivory Towers, Technocrats, as well as some notable public figures.
According to the organisers of the programme, Dr. Oladebeye was conferred with the highest membership of the Institute, in recognition of his numerous achievements in the field of human endeavour through the application of policy management principle as well as his commitment to efficient service delivery in all facets.
The Rector, who received the award alongside the Provost of the College of Education, Ikere – Ekiti, Prof. Mojisola Oyarekua as well as other notable academic, promised to continue to lend support to the Institute in its quest to achieve its core mandate.
Dr. Oladebeye, who was represented at the award presentation ceremony, said the fellowship award would spur him to further contribute his quota to the development of the Polytechnic and the upliftment of humanity in general.
In a related development, the Deputy Registrar in charge of the Protocol, Information and Passages Unit, Prince Ade Adeyemi-Adejolu, has also been conferred with an Award of Excellence in Community and Public Service for his meritorious achievements in the Public Service Sector, a passion which have been brought to bear on the well-being of his Efon Alaaye kingdom of Ekiti State.
Prince Adeyemi-Adejolu, who is also the Chairman of the Ekiti State Chapter of Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), bagged the Efon Alaaye Stakeholders’ Award of Excellence along with eighteen (18) other Iconic indigenes of the ancient town, who have distinguished themselves in their various fields of endeaviour as well as community service.
Receiving the award at the ceremony which took place at the Efon Alaaye Civic Centre on Saturday 16th June, 2018, Prince Adeyemi-Adejolu, thanked the organisers of the programme and promised not of rest on his oars but to continue to be creative and bring about the needed innovation that would impact positively on the community.
The Chairman of the occasion and former Vice Chancellor of the Ekiti State University, Prof. Dipo Kolawole commended the organizers for putting together, the event, notice that such reward based activities will inspire many to strive towards achieving excellence in their various endeavours.
