Congratulatory Visits Trail Alake’s Assumption of Office
Following the assumption of office by the new Rector, Engr. (Dr.) Temitope John Alake on 23rd February 2023, some Internal and External Stakeholders of the Polytechnic have continued to send Congratulatory Messages in addition to Courtesy Visits to the Rector in his office.
The latest of such congratulatory visits was by Messrs Llyodant Company, an ICT – Solution provider, which Firm had been working with the Polytechnic as ICT Consultant over the years. On Monday, 3rd April 2023 two representatives of the Company paid a Courtesy Visit to the Rector to wish him well in the saddle.
The Lloydant representatives Mr. Emeka Asidanya and Mr. Obiora Ayansi, the Managing Director and Operation Manager respectively presented a Congratulatory Card to Dr. Temitope
Alake, while wishing him a successful tenure in office as the 7th Substantive Rector of The Federal Polytechnic, Ado-Ekiti.
In a related development on the same day Mohammed Mustapha, a Chief Superintendent of Police and the Divisional Police Officer for the Odo-Ado Police Division also paid a courtesy call to the Rector.
Mustapha, whose Police jurisdiction covers the main campus of the Institution, felicitated with the Rector on his assumption of office and sought the continued collaboration of the Polytechnic with the Police for effective Policing of the Division.
Responding, the Rector, Dr. Temitope Alake stated that the relationship between the Institution and Security outfits has been very robust and symbiotic. He maintained that the Polytechnic under his administration will continue to strive to concretize such a relationship.
Dr. Alake also appreciated the DPO for the visit and thanked him for the proactive support received from the Odo-Ado Police Division in the times past, which had hitherto contributed to the peace and stability of the Institution, a gesture he described as very appreciable and commendable.
