Fed Poly Ado Rector greets Muslims at Sallah
On behalf of the Governing Council, Management, Staff, Students and entire campus community of The Federal Polytechnic Ado Ekiti, I sincerely wish to felicitate with our Muslim brethren on the occasion of the celebration of this year’s Eid El Kabir
To God be the glory for counting us worthy to witness this year’s celebration of El Adha, which is also the festival of obedience and sacrifice to the Almighty, despite all the challenges of life that we daily go through.
I plead with all to use this sublime celebration as a period of sober reflection and for prayers to lift our nation out of the various challenges bedeviling it with the increasing insecurity and wanton loss of life and property.
This period too should be employed to reach out to the less privileged in the society by lifting them out of their despair with various gifts within our different abilities as commanded by the holy book.
Let me also use this period to encourage all stakeholders of the Polytechnic and Nigerians in general, not to lose hope, since, through our prayers and various sacrifices, things will certainly get better in our individual lives and in the Nigeria nation at large.
Once again, I wish all Barka da Sallah, but please enjoy the festival and the holidays in moderation in view of the dictates of the season.
