Federal establishments commend FPA on Products exhibition during Facility tour visit
The Federal Polytechnic, Ado-Ekiti has again been commended for its proactive innovations and fabrication with the products displayed at a special pre-convocation products exhibition as part of the activities marking the 18th Combined Convocation Ceremony.
The Chairman of the Forum for Federal Establishments in Ekiti State, Mr. James Famurewa gave the commendation when the Forum members visited the Institution on a facility tour, during which they visited the special Exhibition and some strategic department and centres in the Polytechnic.
Mr. Famurewa together with other forum members while inspecting the array of products on display as part of the pre-convocation activities eulogized the Polytechnic for its entrepreneurial acumen and creative dexterity.
He described the Polytechnic as having the potential to gravitate into an industrial hub if given all the necessary support.
Also, during the facility tour of projects under construction and some places of attraction, Mr. Famurewa described the Institution as a progressive Polytechnic with a consistent and unabated infrastructural development.
Some of the places visited include the newly commissioned health centre, Olusegun Obasanjo Centre for Engineering and Innovation, OOCEI, Students Market Outlet (under construction) new students hostel (under construction), Centre for Entrepreneurial Development and Vocational Studies, CEDVS and Poly water plant among other sites.
Earlier in his remark at the exhibition stand, the Rector, Dr. Dayo Oladebeye lauded the ingenuity and creativity of the various departments that exhibited their products.
While reiterating the commitment of the Management to continually do its best to sustain the entrepreneurial value the institution has always been known for, implored all the departments to continue to strive in bringing more dynamism to their products and instill creativity in their students as we live in a world that is fast evolving.
