Federal Polytechnic Ado and Rector, Oladebeye Bagged Distinguished Awards
Rector of The Federal Polytechnic Ado-Ekiti, Dr. Dayo Oladebeye has again added another feather of honour to his cap of accolades, as himself and the Polytechnic bagged double distinguished Awards of the decade.
This time, the first Alumnus Rector of his Alma Mater was bestowed with the Distinguished Merit Award for the Best and most performed outstanding Rector of the Decade .
Also The Federal Polytechnic Ado-Ekiti was simultaneously recognised “as the most Innovative Polytechnic of the Decade” at the very elaborate ceremony, which had in attendance some State Governors, the Senate Leader among other eminent personalities.
The grandeur Award ceremony was hosted by the Northern Achievers International Distinguished Award, 2021 and held at the Banquet Hall of Arewa House in Kaduna on Saturday, 9th October, 2021.
At the very colourful event, four books authored/edited by Prince Joshua Ola Adeleke were unveiled, they include;
1. BUHARI: Perseverance and Pressure
2. Rediscovering Nigeria: Sir Ahmadu Bello, Enduring Legendary Legacy
3. Mallam Aminu Kano: A Committed Democrat of all Times
4. NOTHERN STARS: Who Is Who In The North.
Other eminent Nigerians honoured at the epochal event included the Governor of Borno State, Prof Babagana Umaru Zulum; the Gombe State Governor, Muhammed Inuwa Yahaya, who turned 60years old on the same day as well as some cabinet Ministers, Commissioners across some states, Heads of Institutions and MDAs with renowned Businessmen, Technocrats and Philanthropists among others.
