MAKE GOD YOUR FIRST PRIORITY, RECTOR CHARGES STUDENTS
The Rector of the Federal Polytechnic, Ado-Ekiti, Dr. Dayo Oladebeye has again bagged an Award of Excellence from the National Association of Polytechnic Engineering Students for his doggedness and outstanding performances in the Institution.
The award was presented by the Dean, School of Engineering, Dr. Emmanuel Adeosun who led the students to the Council Chamber of the Polytechnic where the award presentation was held on the 15th of April, 2021. Earlier, the outgoing President of the Association, Lawal Adetunji Isaac had stated that the purpose of the visit was to appreciate the Rector for making the welfare of students his utmost priority by ensuring that they studied in a very conducive environment and helping them to overcome some potential challenges during their stay on campus.
In appreciation, the Rector, Dr. Dayo Oladebeye expressed delight for the award and pledged to continue the good work by ensuring that the peace being enjoyed in the Polytechnic was maintained for improved development. Dr. Oladebeye noted that the various developments on campus have been as a result of God helping him in piloting the affairs of the Institution alongside other members of the Management. He therefore charged the students to always seek the face of God in whatever they do, as that would go a long way in helping their future.
In his remarks, the Administrative Assistant to the Rector, who is also a former Acting Registrar of the Institution, Mr. Olusola Awoniyi thanked the students for acknowledging the headship qualities of the Rector and also urged the outgoing students to compliment the efforts of the Rector by being good ambassadors of the Institution wherever they find themselves.
