Oladebeye, Rector of The Federal Polytechnic Ado-Ekiti felicitate with Muslims at Sallah
Rector of The Federal Polytechnic, Ado-Ekiti, Dr. Dayo Oladebeye has congratulated and felicitated with Muslim faithfuls on the occasion of this year’s Eid-El-Kabir celebration
Dr. Oladebeye, who thanked God, on behalf of stakeholders of the Institution and Muslims in general for witnessing the celebration of the El Adha, pleaded for a peaceful celebration of the Islamic festival of obedience and sacrifice.
He admonished all citizens to use the occasion of the sublime celebration as well as the attendant public holiday as a period of sober reflection, to offer prayers to lift Nigeria out of the present challenges of insecurity, economic hardship and other ills bedevilding the nation.
The Rector, who called for moderation in the Sallah celebration, however tasked those with means to reach out to the less privileged in the society by helping to lift them out of the despair and critical needs.
While encouraging all stakeholders not to lose hope in the nation, he expressed the hope that “through out prayers and various sacrifices, things will certainly get better in our individual lives and in the Nigeria nation at large”.
