Work Hard To Uphold The Ethos Of The Registry…Staff Charged
Registry Staff of the Federal Polytechnic Ado Ekiti, have been admonished to create synergy and harmonious working relationship for the good of the system thereby making it work.
This admonition was given by the Acting Registrar Mr. S.A Adeyemi-Adejolu during his maiden meeting with Directors and all Heads of Registry Units.
According to the Ag. Registrar, ‘’we all must be up and down by diligently working hard to uphold the ethos of the registry being the life wire of any Institution as the store house and custodian of the rules and regulations for diligent operation, we must learn to help one another, share and learn from the challenges, Mr Adeyemi-Adejolu, added.
The need to digitalize the operation of the registry, he also noted has become inevitable as it will go a long way in enhancing it operations thereby reducing manual paper communication
Speakers at the meeting, which included among who are Mrs Folashade Ige, the Director Personnel and Management Services were on consensus that the Registry needs more working tools, while harping on the need to ensure professionalism in the course of performing the job.
She also emphasised and admonish all Registry staff on the need to be confidential, loyal and sincere in the course of discharging their duties.
Mr. Olayinka Babalola, a Senior Deputy Registrar, in his submission called for in-house training for all staff in the Registry insisting that experienced hands should be made to mentor new intakes by allowing them head sensitive divisions.
The Deputy Registrar Academic Board, Mrs. Mary Faluyi called for regular meetings between the Registrar and all the Unit heads and further sued for sincere love among all staff, while doing away with complex of any form.
The Student Affairs Officer, Mrs. Foluke Agboola who further reiterated the need for in-house training for all staff, called for harmony among registry staff, while being very conscious of the extant rules guiding the operations of the Polytechnic.
