Let’s imbibe the Spirit of Togetherness: Rector Charges Staff
An appeal has been made to all staff of The Federal Polytechnic, Ado-Ekiti to always have a good attitude and strive to make a difference, as it is in togetherness alone that we can achieve.
Dr. Temitope John Alake gave this charge at the Commissioning of 20 Computer system and its accessories purchased by the School of Engineering for research and learning.
The Rector who was visibly elated opined that we are all individually blessed and unique in our different ways with different abilities but in togetherness we can achieve, therefore, all hands must be on deck to effect the necessary change.
Efforts he said would be made to ensure that round pegs are placed in round holes, noting that ability to think rightly is a gift from God.
He commended the Dean of the School, Dr. Rasheed Adebimpe and his team for a job well done saying that things are moving and we must learn to move with time especially in this era of digitalization.
The Dean of the School earlier in his remarks appreciated the Rector for granting the School the approval to purchase the systems in aid of learning and research.
Dr. Adebimpe noted that the systems will be connected to a server and will be put to effective use for the training of staff and students of the School.
Also in his remarks, Dr. Olusegun Adeoti who is the School Chairman of the Committee on digitalization said the systems are powered on windows 11 and would be deployed effectively for research and learning.
