BABALOLA, ADEPOJU AND AJAYI APPOINTED IN ACTING CAPACITY
Authorities of the Federal Polytechnic, Ado Ekiti have appointed Mr. Olayinka Kazeem Babalola, Mr. Lawrence Sunday Adepoju and Dr. Lawrence Jide Ajayi in acting capacity as Registrar, Bursar and Polytechnic Librarian respectively.
Their appointments follows the six months expiration of the tenure of Mr. S.A Adeyemi-Adejolu, Mrs. Deborah Olotuah and Dr. Mufutau Ashiru as the Registrar, Bursar and Polytechnic Librarian respectively.
In accordance with the letter of appointments issued the Principal Officers, “their appointments is with effect from Monday 10th June, 2024 and will terminate when substantive Principal Officers are appointed by the Governing Council or at the expiration of six months, whichever comes first”.
Mr. O.K Babalola joined the services of the Federal Polytechnic, Ado Ekiti in 1999 as an Administrative Officer II. He rose through the ranks to become a Deputy Registrar.
In the course of his career in the Polytechnic, he has held different positions of authority, the highest being the Acting Director of Personnel and Management Services.
Mr. O.K Babalola who holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Ado Ekiti and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Ilorin, represented the Congregation on the 11th Governing Council of the Polytechnic.
Mr. Babalola who has also served in various Management Committees has attended various Conferences and Seminars both locally and internationally.
He is the immediate past President of the Progressive Welfare Society.
He is happily married and blessed with children and his hobbies includes Pastoring, counseling, travelling, music. and farming
Mr. Lawrence Sunday Adepoju before his appointment as the Acting Bursar was the Director of Budget in the Bursary.
Mr. L.S Adepoju joined the services of the Federal Polytechnic in 1983 as a Clerical Officer, rose through the ranks and became a Chief Accountant in 2012.
He is a Fellow, Association of National Accountant of Nigeria; Associate member, Association of Chattered System Accountants USA amongst others.
In the course of his service to the Polytechnic, Mr. L.S Adepoju has served in various Committees and attended Conferences and Seminars locally and internationally.
He is the current Chairman of Bursary Welfare Society; Chairman, Project Committee, Alumni Association, The Federal Polytechnic Ado Ekiti; an examiner with WAEC and NECO and also involved in Community Associations.
Dr. Lawrence Jide AJAYI joined the services of the Polytechnic as a Librarian I in 2013 and rose to the rank of an Assistant Chief Librarian before his appointment as the Acting Polytechnic Librarian.
He holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Information Resources Management from the Babcock University. He is widely published both locally and internationally in Scholartic Journals.
His vocation includes ministering to prisoners, visitation to hospitals, pastoring and counseling. He is happily married and blessed with children.
