Rector Promises To Expedite Action On Establishment Of Staff Secondary School

Rector of The Federal Polytechnic, Ado-Ekiti, Dr. Dayo Oladebeye has pledged to do everything possible within his power to ensure that the establishment of the Polytechnic Staff Secondary School becomes a reality in no distant time.

Dr. Oladebeye made the promise at the end of year/graduation and valedictory activities of the Polytechnic Staff School for the 2020/2021 academic session held at the Multi-purpose Hall on Thursday, 22nd July, 2021.

Oladebeye, who appreciated the Lord Almighty for a successful completion of another school year and for preserving the lives of the teachers and pupils even in the midst of the Corona Pandemic, lauded the Staff School Management Board ably led by Mr. O.D. Komolafe and the teachers for keeping the School going and maintaining its standard.

 The Rector, while extolling the dexterity of the immediate past Head teacher, Mr. J.O. Agunbiade and the present Acting Head Teacher, Mrs. Olayemi Adeyeye, affirmed that the Polytechnic Management was proud of the Staff School and its achievement especially for continually recording hundred percent (100%) Pass in Common Entrance Examinations and winning Laurels for the Institution.

The feats achieved by the Staff School overtime, the Rector said, has necessitated the Management’s conviction that indeed, the Institution deserves a Secondary School assuring that the School would continue to enjoy the support of Management.

Also in her remark at the occasion, the Registrar, Mrs. Kehinde Ekanem expressed her appreciation to the Staff School Management Board, the Acting Head Teacher and the  teachers of the School for taking care of the pupils.

While urging parents not to relent in their effort in bringing up their children with high moral and educational standard as the joy that comes from it is unquantifiable, the Registrar advised the pupils to be respectful, focused, and develop themselves for the challenges ahead as the leaders of tomorrow.

The Chairman, Staff School Management Board, Mr. O.D. Komolafe in his remarks, expressed his profound gratitude to the Rector and members of the Staff School Management Board for the completion of the primary school new site which teachers and pupils are presently enjoying.

He congratulated the School for the feat recorded in the last common entrance and the Ekiti Children’s Summit where the school took the first position, urging them not to rest on their oars.

Earlier in her welcome address, the Acting Head Teacher, Mrs. Olayemi Adeyeye thanked the Management of the Polytechnic led by Dr. Dayo Oladebeye, who she noted has been very passionate and dedicated to the growth and development of the Staff School.

The Acting Head Teacher also thanked the Rector for all he has been doing for the Staff School by always expediting actions on their demands, especially by approving the establishment of a Staff Secondary School, which she is hopeful, will soon become a reality.  Mrs. Adeyeye thanked the Staff School Management Board for the role played in ensuring that the Staff School moved from its old site to the new one, assuring that the school will always continue to do its best to maintain the standard.

The Acting Head Teacher while calling on the parents to overlook the class position of their child but focus rather on their overall average and performance in subjects as all the pupils are brilliant, implored them to assist teacher at home as teachers alone cannot do all the work.

She thanked the teachers for their impact on the lives of the pupils and urged them to keep the flag flying and not relent on their effort just as she charged the graduating pupils to continue to uphold the moral and spiritual values taught them while in school and shun bad friends.

The Parents Teachers Association (PTA) Chairman, Mr. Ilugbemi in his address congratulated the School on the successful completion of the academic year despite the menace of the Corona Virus.

While thanking the Rector for providing a conducive atmosphere for learning, implored him to expedite action on the establishment of the secondary school.

Ilugbemi called on the parents not to relent on their obligation towards their children and admonished the graduating pupils to be of good morals and shun bad company.

In their farewell address, the Head Boy, Abayomi Richard and Head Girl, Loretta Akintoye, lauded the Rector, Dr. Dayo Oladebeye for always attending promptly to challenges confronting the Staff School.

While appreciating the Staff School Management Board for their untiring support and interest in the continual growth of the Staff School, thanked the teachers for inculcating morals in the pupils and for teaching them well.

They thanked their former Head Teachers, Mr. J.O. Agunbiade for his love and kindness, and Mrs. Eke for her motherly care.

The prefects expressed their appreciation to their present Acting Head Teacher, Mrs. J.D. Adeyeye for her care and support and also their parents for their parental love and guidance.

They tasked their fellow graduands to be focused as they take their leave of the Staff School.

Five thousand Naira (N5,000) for HND results with or without Transcript.

Ten thousand Naira (N10,000) for ND and HND results.

Step 3: Make the payment through Remita into the Polytechnic Reference account with the following code: 1000060528.

Step 4: Send your request to the email address verification.reg@fedpolyado.edu.ng. The verification process will begin promptly, and the outcome of the verification will be communicated to you via email.
